High Bridge Trail: This is a great trail for walking, running, and cycling. The trail is very wide and flat with a good amount of shade and tree coverage throughout. Users recommend starting in downtown Farmville along Main Street to the end of the High Bridge and back.

Head out on this 15.1-mile point-to-point trail near Burkeville, Virginia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 59 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and horseback riding, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are March through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
